About the event

Put your name in the hat for a free signed paperback copy of TANGLES. When trade reviews on her debut novel began pouring in, author Kay Smith-Blum was surprised to hear the many comments about how her tale, TANGLES, crossed over multiple genres and with a level of auithenticiy and humanity that was unusual in the historical fiction category. Join her as she dissects the ways she "built" her story into the compelling, unputdownable suspense filled fictional account of the birth of the nuclear age and the devastating Cold War that followed. As seasoned reviewer Jo Neiderhoff of the San Francisco book review put it, "TANGLES doesn't feel like the historical fiction I've been reading lately. It feels like so mucn more." A Q&A session will follow the short talk and author-signed books will be available for purchase.
